For Apple Watch owners
Walkie-Talkie is gone. Your watch can still talk.
Apple removed the Walkie-Talkie app in watchOS 27. Nowza brings back talking from your wrist, and this time your friends don't need an Apple Watch, or even an iPhone, to talk back.

What you'll keep
- Tap a friend, hold to talk, let go to listen.
- Friends ring your wrist, and you answer with a tap.
- Only people you've accepted can reach you.
- Your phone stays in your pocket.
What you'll gain
- Friends without an Apple Watch: talk to any iPhone, Android phone or Wear OS watch.
- Talk from your iPhone too, even when it's locked.
- The whole family or crew on one channel, up to 15 people.
- Never wonder if it got through: Played, Busy or No reply.
- Miss a message and it waits for you. Replay the last one anytime.
- Nothing on record: no history, recordings or transcripts, ever.
Switch in three steps
Back to talking in a few minutes
- 1
Get Nowza on your iPhone
Sign in with Apple, and add Nowza to your Apple Watch. Your iPhone signs the watch in.
- 2
Invite your Walkie-Talkie friends
Send each one a link in Messages. Walkie-Talkie friends don't carry over, so this is the one step that takes a minute.
- 3
Hold to talk on your wrist
Tap their name, hold the mouth, and talk. Add a complication to reach them in one tap.
Bring your Walkie-Talkie friends
They talk with you free.
One-on-one, only one of you needs a subscription. Subscribe, invite the people you used to talk to, and they can answer without paying.
