On iPhone and Apple Watch? This page is only for Android accounts, which sign in with Google. To delete an account you signed in to with Apple, open Nowza on your iPhone, go to Settings and tap Delete Account.
Before you start
If you subscribed through Google Play, cancel your subscription first: deleting your Nowza account doesn't cancel it, and Google keeps billing until you do. In the Google Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Nowza, and tap Cancel subscription.
Delete your account
Sign in with the Google account you use in Nowza. We'll show you the account before anything is deleted.
Delete the Nowza account ? Your friends, invites and devices go with it, and your watch is signed out. This can't be undone.
Your Nowza account is deleted. Your friends, invites and blocks are gone, and your phone and watch are signed out. You can sign up again any time.
You can also delete your account in the Android app: open Settings, tap Delete Account and confirm with Google.
What's deleted
Your account, screen name, avatar, friends, invites, blocks, devices, sessions, diagnostics logs and problem reports, all at once. You're also removed from your friends' lists.
What's kept, and for how long
- Diagnostics and server logs, which contain account and device IDs but never names or audio, expire within 30 days.
- Reports you filed or that were filed about you are kept for safety, with account IDs only.
- Subscription records. If you subscribed, the purchase details are unlinked from your account. Google's order IDs, the plan and its dates are kept without it, so that if Google is still billing the subscription, a new Nowza account of yours can use it.
- Daily totals, such as how many people used Nowza each day, have no account IDs, names or audio in them.
Your messages were never stored: they're end-to-end encrypted and only pass through our relay. Signing in with Google gives Nowza only an ID for your Google account, never access to it, so there's nothing to revoke at Google. See the privacy policy for more.
